One of our favorite workshops is coming back to the Firehouse! Discover the joy of painting in our Bob Ross®️ Workshop with certified instructor Andy Taylor! Spend the day learning Bob Ross’s iconic wet-on-wet painting technique as Andy guides you step-by-step through creating your own beautiful landscape. Whether you’re an experienced painter or picking up a brush for the first time, this workshop is designed to be relaxed, approachable, and fun. You’ll leave with a completed painting of your own to take home!
All supplies are provided! Just bring yourself and get ready to paint some happy little trees! Each workshop is held from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM at the Firehouse Arts Center.

PHOTOGRAPHY PIN-UP
Inspired by our beloved Sketchbook Pin-Up Show, we’re bringing a Photography Pin-Up Show to the Firehouse Arts Center in conjunction with the River South Festival! This show is all about celebrating the people who notice the beauty in everyday life — the landscape you pass every morning, an interesting shadow, a quiet still life, an unexpected detail, or a moment you just had to capture. Landscapes, still life, abstract, architecture, wildlife, and more are welcome.
CHALK WALK CONTEST
We are so excited to celebrate our 4th annual Chalk Walk contest for the River South Festival! The contest is open to individuals and groups. As a registered participant or group of 2-4, you will be given a square of sidewalk located in front of the Firehouse Arts Center and Court House in Downtown Bainbridge. 3×3 Squares will be assigned upon check in on the morning of the event. This event is a wonderful time to express your creative vision and celebrate the beauty of our downtown!

$5 entry fee. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Entries will be processed in the order they are received.

10am-1pm: Check-in, individuals and groups register at the Firehouse Gallery. Participants will work on creating their masterpieces. All are welcome to come and see them at work.
1pm-2pm: A group of judges representing Downtown Bainbridge and River South will cast their votes.
1pm-2:30pm: We will be accepting votes from the public for Peoples Choice.
3:30pm: We will announce the winners and prizes!
