Celebrate young artists at the Firehouse!
The Firehouse Arts Center invites parents, families, and the community to join us for a special Student Art Show featuring the incredible talent of BMS and BHS students on April 18th from 2-4 PM.
Come explore a vibrant collection of student artwork, meet the young artists, and support the next generation of creatives. From paintings and drawings to sculptures and mixed media, this showcase will highlight the imagination and hard work of our talented students.

Sketchbook Pin Up
Get ready for one of our most-loved events of the year — Sketchbook Pin-Up 2026! Join us on Saturday, February 7th from 1–7:30 PM for an art-filled afternoon and evening celebrating creativity in all its forms. This vibrant community showcase features incredible artwork by local artists of all ages, live music, and a festive atmosphere that makes browsing (and buying!) art a blast. Expect great vibes, beer and popcorn for everyone, and walls packed with original work — all priced at $20 or less.
Artist Submissions
Submissions for Sketchbook Pin-Up will be accepted January 6th–January 27th.
Submission Guidelines:
• Artwork must be 6x6 inches or smaller and lightweight
• Please write your name and price ($3–$20) on the back of each piece
• Accepted media includes drawings, sketches, collages, and paintings
• Artists will receive payment for any artwork sold, minus a $2 Firehouse commission per piece
• We reserve the right not to display offensive content
Artwork must be dropped off at the Firehouse Gallery & Shop by January 27th.
Every purchase supports the arts — $2 from each sale goes directly to the Firehouse Arts Center. Come celebrate creativity, support local artists, and maybe even take home a little piece of art magic.

Chalk Walk Contest
We are so excited to celebrate our 3rd annual Chalk Walk contest for the River South Festival! The contest is open to individuals and groups. As a registered participant or group of 2-4, you will be given a square of sidewalk located in front of the Firehouse Arts Center and Court House in Downtown Bainbridge. 3×3 Squares will be assigned upon check in on the morning of the event. This event is a wonderful time to express your creative vision and celebrate the beauty of our downtown!
