Welcome to KidCasso.
Our vibrant youth program at the Firehouse is designed to ignite creativity and foster a love for the arts. KidCasso offers four engaging workshops each year. Our mission is to provide a welcoming space where kids can explore their imaginations, develop new skills, and build confidence through artistic expression.
🎨 Winter Season: Sketchbook Society
January – February | Grades 4th–8th | Tuesdays | 4:00–5:30 PM
Kick off the new year with creativity! Our Winter program, Sketchbook Society, introduces students to a range of drawing tools and sketching techniques, all while encouraging self-expression and growth. Over four weeks, young artists will learn how to “build up” a piece from concept to final creation. Each student will take home their own sketchbook — filled with the beginnings of an artistic journey they can continue well beyond the season.

🖌️ Spring Season: Art Through the Decades
April – May | Grades 1st–8th | 4:00–6:00 PM
Time-travel through creativity! In this six-week spring session, students will dive into art history through hands-on projects inspired by three dynamic art movements. They'll not only create beautiful work — they'll also gain an appreciation for iconic artists and the eras they helped shape.
We’ll celebrate their efforts with a special gallery reception showcasing their creations.

🌞 Summer Season: Gogh With the Flow
July | Grades 1st - 8th | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Let their imagination run wild this summer! Gogh With the Flow encourages kids to explore new techniques, embrace spontaneity, and create art that’s uniquely their own. This four-day camp is perfect for young creatives who want to build their skills while having fun in a relaxed, inspiring environment.
Each child will leave with a collection of artwork — thoughtfully packed in a custom keepsake bag.

🍂 Fall Season: The FUNdamentals of Art
September 9th – October 23rd 2025 | Grades 1st–8th | 4:00–6:00 PM
Back to school, back to basics — with a twist! Our fall session teaches the building blocks of art: the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. Through engaging, hands-on projects, students will gain a deeper understanding of how art works — while creating masterpieces of their own in the process.
We’ll celebrate their efforts with a special gallery reception showcasing their creations October 28th 5:30pm-6:30pm.

Meets once a week for 6 weeks - no class week of October 13th
Grades 1st–4th will meet on Tuesdays and 5th–8th meet on Thursdays
